Have you any funds left from the $10m collected during ico?

  • Dylan Wade posted an update in the group Group logo of BCAP PortfolioBCAP Portfolio 3 weeks ago

How has there been no REAL updates from this team since ICO. Give us a damn update. Tell us what the portfolio holds. Give us a dashboard for holdings so we can track it. This is unacceptable.

    • the NAV report has been posted in the investor updates section.

    • What do you wish to know sir. BCAP has EOS pre-ICO deal, if they only got 2% out of them, and probably more, that’s alone worth 20m$. But I would not close such position If I was them… Hopefully we get more out of it. And that’s only one investment. I say future is bright.

      • EOS is a fantasy project of Dan’s. He’s going to release a half baked blockchain and then abandon it like steemit and bitshares.

Hi all .. Blockchain Capital has invested in Ledger X.
Would anyone know if part of the funds raised during ICO were also invested in Ledger X?

One question about updates – will there be any plans for an easy to see collection of investments – how much bought – current worth – profit % etc.

I’m finding it quite hard to find information on what has been invested – how much has been invested. The only thing in the latest update is the list of invesments by the name of the project.

will the hack of paritys multisig-wallet have financial consequences to parity?

    • It is written in the NAV Statement (July 5th) that the parity deal isnt closed yet. So I want to know if the deal will be closed or canceled after the hack (f.e. no trust in devs). This would be an financial consequense regarding BCAP.

For me there were 4 scenarios:

deal wasnt Close before the hack

-> get a better Price for parity Shares (good…[Read more]

You can vote on BCAP on the coinwar’s website to rank it up: https://coinvotes.com/siteinfo/28

  • NAV of each BCAPtoken as of June 30, 2017, is $1.03, based on the NAV of the underlying VC fund, Blockchain Capital III Digital Liquid Venture Fund, LP. What this means? Do I have to do something?

  • What is bcap team plan to overcome current crypto currency market free fall with buy backs ? Thanks.

  • Is there any information regarding dates for bcap team buy backs ? or they are not revaled on purpose to avoid speculation ? Thanks.

  • After reading a lot of confused posts below, I think I need to remind BCAP shareholders that this is a venture fund, where we not only buy tokens, but we also buy equity in startups. One of our main advantages over others is that flexibility to discern between owning equity versus tokens. Anyone can go buy a portfolio of tokens, but not everyone…[Read more]

    • The ICO was completely funded in 6 hours, however none of the funds in the contract were moved until the ICO’s scheduled close 30 days later. During this window the initially invested funds appreciated substantially. Why is this not reflected in the evaluation. Clearly you cashed out more than the $10m your were seeking. Please explain this to…[Read more]

      • All coins were liquidated to USD within 5 days of the close of funding, we issued a Press Release with Argon specifically stating this right after we did the sales. Please do your research before throwing ignorant accusations.

        • According to the NAV The BCAP portfolio includes both ETH and BTC… You’re telling me that all of the ICO funds that were collected in BTC and ETH were liquidated to USD and then Blockchain Capital repurchased BTC and ETH at a higher price and with additional exit/entry fees?

          • Yes, we have small amounts of ETH and BTC in the Fund, that were returned to us from participating in specific ICOs. The Balance of un-invested funds sits in USD.

    Hey everyone,
Whilst I understand the frustration of the below ‘investors’, considering they’re used to low volume shitcoins that go 1000% or -90% in a couple months, I strongly disagree with their ‘analysis’ and I just facepalmed my painful way through the comments here.

If you guys aren’t happy with the absence of instant results, feel free t…[Read more]

    • Nobody is looking for a PnD, but when the whole market did 500% in the same period and Bcap shows a 3% return with zero visibility and a little one-liner FU statement then yes, we want answers. I’m also holding for the long run, but the 1-liner excuse of a report is pathetic

    • They received so much eth and btc prepump and then all this gains went only to their pockets giving nothing back to investors and actually stealling and laughing to out faces with $1.03 price. Indecent at least

      • Please read prior announcements and the Offering Memo. All BTC and ETH were converted to USD immediately after the offering. BCAP is not meant to be a tracking stock to ETH and BTC exposure- anyone is welcome to do that on their own.

    • Thank you Vinz for your level-headed analysis. We intend to give more details about the positions in the fund. But as of now, we are still purchasing certain positions, negotiating additional deals or structuring them… thus for competitive reasons, and we have only been investing this fund for two months, we kept position details to a minimal…[Read more]

Can we also have projections and targets for the next quarter along with the NAV?

    • Given we went the route of being defined as a security, we are very limited in saying anything that can be construed as “marketing” or “promotional”… so a forward looking statement on targets or projections isn’t likely.

@brad please can you reply to the questions below. Your investors would appreciate answers as currently BCap looks like a scam at best.

    • We have already assembled a fantastic portfolio of some of the most exciting companies in the blockchain ecosystem, and have many more in process right now. Many of these positions are pre-ICO, thus have not begun trading, thus we hold them at cost for NAV purposes. And recent equity investments are also held at cost, until there have been…[Read more]

    From Bcap managment

Due to unexpected gains from the ico invested tokens, the Bcap token capitalisation is today far more than the ico closing day capitalisation. Therefor we we place a buy wall to assert minimum cap at the actual price around 3.5$

If Bcap had any shame their update would look more like this

    Hello Everyone
Just wanna say that after the Nav update I feel totally betrayed. Not smart to shout your indecency

    Hello everyone
As most of us I invested my well respected eth’s to this “smart VC” . As of today I feel totally undervalued and betrayed of all my trust. A capital fund that cannot care less about its investors will not go far. Very disappointed.

    • For educational purposes, look up the concept of a “J-curve” in venture capital… something that this fund was able to avoid right out of the gate by our one liquid investment performing well. 🙂

Details how this NAV is calculated would be appreciated, because right now this is not a report – it’s a FU note. Where money went in what quantities, what is counted as profit, what isn’t etc.
